Join our Faces of the Forum Campaign

We want to spotlight the Forum experience from various vantage points: attendees, speakers, industry supporters, press, and other partners! Help us share your experience by recording and submitting a short (up to 30 seconds) video. These don’t have to be fancy - iPhone/smartphone videos and Zoom recordings will work! Choose a phrase below and record your response:

  • One of my favorite parts of attending the ACTRIMS Forum each year is…

  • The ACTRIMS Forum is unique because…

  • One of the things I am most looking forward to at the ACTRIMS Forum 2024 in West Palm Beach is…

  • The ACTRIMS Forum 2024 theme, “Breaking Barriers in MS,” is exciting/important because…

  • I am honored to be an invited speaker at the ACTRIMS Forum this year.

    • My presentation is about…

    • People should attend this session because…

    • This is important to MS research because…

  • My organization has chosen to support the ACTRIMS Forum 2024 because…

    1. Video position - rotate your iPhone/smartphone horizontally to capture your video in widescreen format.

    2. Video length - no more than 30 seconds.

    3. Record in a quiet space.

    4. Clean and simple backgrounds work best (a plain wall, a potted plant, or a bookshelf works perfectly).

    5. Lighting should come from in front of you rather than from behind you. Avoid backgrounds with harsh light such as windows. If you need to, place a desk lamp/light behind your computer screen to illuminate your face.

    6. Don’t get too close to the camera. Position yourself so the camera is seeing you from the chest or waist up instead of just seeing your face.

    7. Try to have fun with it and let your personality shine through!

    8. Watch your own recording and re-record if you need to!

If you need assistance creating a video, we can help by recording your message using Zoom. Email Karisa Trudgeon at ktrudgeon@actrims.org to schedule a time.
